  • Become acquainted with your child’s teachers and try to build a good working relationship with them.
  • Take deep interest in your child’s homework. Read with him/her frequently.
  • Encourage your child to play outdoor & indoor games every day.
  • Monitor your child’s T.V. viewing and monitor the programmes to be seen depending on the age and perception of the child.
  • Encourage your child to watch sports programmes on T.V. and the English news – bulletins, besides a regular habit of going through headlines of Newspapers daily.
  • Watch your child’s eating habits. Junk food can have adverse effects on his/her ability to concentrate. Inculcate good eating habits.

  • Try and guide your child to choose and keep good and healthy company.
  • Be your child’s best friend. He/she needs your mature company to traverse their path in life.
  • Encourage your child to listen to music and develop an understanding of different forms and instruments.
